hiya dont post very often so thanks for looking,
im really confused at moment n ne one i speak to dont seem to know themselves!
so here it is... i am currently 29 weeks pregnant i sent off for my maternity allowance at 26 weeks, as i am recieving jobseekers allowance at minuite but have worked up until a few months ago
i recieved a letter on 15th saying that i was entitled and that i would be payed once they have been informed of any any overlap in benefit period.
so i rang maternity and the said it was all sorted and they were just waiting on jobcentre
so i rang jobcentre (as im due to sign on fri) and asked whether i need to sign off or do they do it automatically etc he didnt noi could tell in his voice!
im just wondering if anyone had a simular claim to mine and if so what do i do or do i just do nothing many thanks x xx
