About 3 weeks ago now, I had this feeling I was pregnant, I had nausea, slight cramping, light headed and just I dunno had this 'feeling'. I tested and it was negative but I figured it would be anyway as my period wasn't due for like 2 & 1/2 weeks.

So, Monday 6th July, my period was due (i am that regular i go to bed with a pad on and wake up to a bleed, i have been like clockwork since I was 13, and returned back to normal straight after the delivery of DD)

Wednesday I bought 2 Tesco Home pregnancy tests, both tested negative, however I heard bad things about them so viewed reviews online, which say they are no good for detecting early pregnancies.

Day 4 of no period, I decided to go to the Walk in Centre for a test, she tests negative but says she thinks I may be pregnant due to me being so regular and having unprotected sex when I did. (Pull out method however he never got out on time  ) She said to wait a few a week or so as the pregnancy hormone doubles every few days then test again!

So today Day 5 with no :witch:, here I am, worrying like crazy, I NEED to know. But I don't want t waste any more money on tests I have bought 4 this month  Should I just see it as negative and my Aunt Flo is just on her holidays?
When would you advise testing for optimum results, I would leave it but the nurse says its a good possibility but with the negatives, I am in 2 minds. I found out very early on last time, so I dont understand how I could be pregnant now, but tests aren't reading!

i don't want to read and run hun cos i read your message the other day about this and sense you are worrying:hugs: :hugs:
whenever i have tested i have always just used the really cheap tests from Poundland (i think you get 2 tests for £1) and i found them really realiable. they are really sensitive so pick up the pregnancy hormone early.

also, have you started any medications that may have messed up your cycle? i remember reading about anitdepressants but i am not sure if you took them or not, if you have, do you think it is possible they have affected your cycle? are you eating well, dieting or anything? also the fact you are worrying will perhaps cause it to be late.

i hope you get the answer your want.

I would wait a couple of days and retest with a superdrug own brand as they are the most sensitive. Good luck hun hope you get the result you want xx

first morning urine definitely, and always clear blue easy for me. best of luck :)

honey id highly recommend you buy a frer 6 days early they are excellent at picking up the hcg xxx

Thanks for replying, No, no changes at all. The only other thing I can think of that is delaying AF is stressing about if i am pregnant! :(

Superdrugs own was the test I used when I found out with Hallie! I think I might invest!

You can buy them in most supermarkets/pharmacies.

the girl who posted before me thats the one hun they are fairly cheap too get them in chemists or supermarket i think i may have one kicking around i will have a look and let you know xx

The same thing has happened to me, but I had a faint positive then negative tests. was told to wait another week and re-test. 1 missed AF has now turned into 2!! with no sign of her coming. I refuse to buy any more tests, so will ask for a blood test when I go bck to dr's on Monday.

try not to stress too much hun, I know its frustrating.x

i've just spent £10 on a Clear Blue Digital one, took my wee wee, wiped and there was my period. Typical haha. Wonder why I was 6 days late though :(

You must have ovulated later hun. General rule is you have your period 14 days after ovulation.

aw sorry to hear you got your whitch g.luck next time x
