Advise on sleeping

Hey ladies I had my little girl 2days ago we got home yesterday and my problem is she hates her Moses basket!!! Loves sleeping on/with me but only lasts about 5mins in her Moses before she starts crying, has anyone got any advise as I never had this problem with my son xxx

It's pretty normal for a baby that young! Don't forget she's just been in you for 9 months all cuddled up and cozy and has come out to this big scary bright world!! Some babies just need a bit of extra love and attention, but she'll grow out of it eventually .
I had Sophie on me just about 24/7 in the first weeks and now she sleeps soundly in her moses basket every night (apart from during growth spurts!).

Secondly, she will be womb-sick and need comforting and cuddles

Have you tried swaddling? Babies can resist at first but when they get used to it it's a godsend! Also try raising the mattress slightly, we use a folded up hand towel under it and rolling blankets either side so that she feels like she's still being held

my LO is a month on tuesday and still like this. however she is getting a bit more used to it now. your LO has been inside you for so long so prob fins it strange. try swaddling her that might help or put a hot water bottle in before you are going to be settling your LO down to warm it up. the health nurse suggested putting the back legs up on something to slant it and that helps with wind aswell! hopefully it ets better for you soon x
