AF due August 27, stillnone, preg symptoms but no BFP :-(

This has happened with 2 of my pregnancies which eventually showed positive at 9 weeks then miscarried at 10 weeks. It has me a bit worried, anyone experienced the same thing? I tested before and after AF due date and urine and blood came out negative. I have been reading up on the "hook effect' and wondering if that's maybe a cause, or just an isue with my hormones. My daughters' test didn't show positive until I was 6 months pregnant with her by urine test but at 4 weeks she had hCg levels of being at 8 weeks, so I know my levels get high pretty quick. Thoughts? It is driving me nuts!! My doctor said to wait another two weeks to see if AF arrives or if I get a positive test, but I am having all the signs like headaches, nasea, cravings, moodswings, bloating, constipation, etc

Aww I am right there with you. Was due Aug 25 and no AF but all the tests are negative. Are you charting temps and/or using OPKs? There is always the possibility you ovulated later... If you are charting and your temps are still high I have heard that on rare occasions a corpus luteal cyst can delay AF and keep your temps up. Idk. I still mostly believe I'm pregnant... sounds like based on your other pregnancies your hormone might just take longer to develop enough to show up in tests?

No, not using any tests. Not ttc but not preventing either lol. I just feel pregnant though, I have all the symptoms and the missed period is getting my hopes up but at the same time I have been so stressed that could be a cause too. I hate the waiting game, lol. I tried charting about 3 years ago but didn't work as my cycle goes between 26-28 days which messes things up and my temperature seem to constantly be all over the place so I gave up. so possible I missed my ovulation window, but at the same time I am pretty sure i just caught it. Have you had any symptoms yourself beside missing AF?

I started having some pain in my side this afternoon, not like a AF pain, just like somethings stuck in there on my right side, and tonight when I went to the loo I had light browny-pink discharge. Is that normal? Anyone had that? It's got me worried
