After Ectopic - advice

I had an ectopic pregnancy in 2008 and had to have my right fallopian tube removed, my other tube is badly scared. I have reached the age of 30 and I would really like to try for a baby but I am afraid of not being able to conceive or conceiving and having another ectopic? Any advice.

hi i had an ectopic in 2009 and i was the same as u scared it would happen again, but after 9mths we started trying again, so far i havent had another. If its something u really want then u shouldnt let it stop u, i say go 4 it and try not 2 worry. I hope everything works out 4 u x

If you are worried about the scarring in the other tube causing another ectopic then have you considered IVF? I know it's a really big step - financially and emotionally but that would avoid the fallopian tube altogether so you wouldn't have to worry about another egg getting stuck in the wrong place. I wish you luck on your journey.
