Hello,

I am very new here. I have just registered couple of minutes ago. I am a mum of a five years old boy and we would like to have a second child somewhere the coming year..

Last year December I got an implant in my arm (Implanon)which was removed over a week ago. Right now I am waiting to my period to start again since while I had the implant I had no periods at all.

Does anyone have any experience how long doe it take to get a period again and having ovulation regularly?

For days I feel small craps just small menstruation feeling but nothing is happing.

With my son I did not use any tool since I got pregnant very fast. This time I am prepared a bit more and I bough some ovulation test as well just to see how day works.

Thank you very much
Khatif

PS. English is not my mother tong so please look over the mistakes in my posts :)

Hi :)
I had my implant removed 11th April to try for our second too.
I got my period 19th April and lasted the usual 5 days.
Waited and waited for second period to arrive which finally came on cycle day 39!
So I have no idea when the next one will be lol.
Iv heard many different stories...people getting pregnant before they even have a period...people getting pregnant within a few months and periods are normal and them some woman wait weeks to months for the first period!
I think it all depends on the person..there's no definite answer really.
You may be lucky and everything will be normal and regular...or you can be like me and just make sure you do the deed every other night go with the flow and see what happens :) I'm trying not to stress too much this time round. Good luck to you x

Hello :)

Thanks for your answer.

I try to take it as easy as I can but you it is not that simple. I had waiting longer than I wanted already to have the chance to try :) But I will take your advice and just try without getting too focused.

Good luck to you!! :)

I was so focused when trying for my daughter that I ended up getting pregnant the month I was more relaxed about and even went out socialising and to a few parties whilst also drinking. So I was defiantly shocked when I found out as I hardly thought about it.
And as for ovulating I have ovulated right on time this month :) so even if I don't conceive fingers crossed AF should arrive bang on 28 day cycle x

It took 7 weeks after removal for af to arrive. I'm currently on cycle 3. My periods have been 32 days apart, I don't know about the first cycle but the last one I did get a positive opk. Hopefully this is the month. I'm much more relaxed about it.

Thank you for you answer.

I am trying to be relaxed about it. We have time and it is something cannot be urged The problem that I have a bit of pressure on me.
I suffer from depression and according to my doctor during pregnancy I will be free of it again, just like last time.
Because I want to get pregnant I have stopping with my medication in order to avoid defects can caused by the antidepressant.
So I have to try to make the medicine-free time before the pregnancy as short as possible. The longer it takes the bigger the chance that I will get very down again.
I secretly hope that I will be all right without my pills also.

I hope thus will be your month. I wish you all the luck!

Stacey_89. How many more day you have to ? Are tou use some ovutest?
