after pains ??

i had my little girl 9 days ago, is it normal for me to feel sore and bruised still, i had 2 stitches and a normal delivery (appart from the midwife bouncing up and down on my tummy, which was not nice at all!) one of my stitches has come away and i have a slight itching there, which iv put down to heeling, and i get the odd cramp now and again. Is this normal or am i being parnoid??!!

sounds pretty normal to me, it's judt everything putting itself right again. If you are concerned about it mention it to your health visitor. x

Yep, still having pains after 10 days. Midwife said it sounded normal. It will be nice to be able to sit in a hard chair again without a pillow! lol

I carried a donut to sit on for 2 weeks and today it's been 6 weeks and we went to a parade and I couldn't stand for the 1 hour I was there because I'm still sore.

I still feel very bruised, but that is probably due to the forceps being used during delivery.

My pelvic area still gets sore if I walk for long periods.
