Hello,
I had my EC on Monday for ICSI. They got 7 eggs, 6 of which fertilised and had developed into 3-6 cells today (day 2). Unfortunately, every one of them is fragmented and poor quality.
They want to wait until day 5 to see if they can choose the best ones; however, the embryologist made it clear there is a very real chance of having none left by then and, if there is, they would probably put two back because the quality is so poor. Generally, they are adamant they will only put one back, so it must be bad.
I'm not really sure what my question is... just, does anyone have information on fragmented embryos? Do we have any chance at all?
Thanks
