I think so...I'm pretty sure it all has it's own unique chemical code so property can be identified back to it's owner.

Posting that about smartwater made it sound like I was suggesting that would 'fix the problem' obviously I didn't mean it to come across like that, but round by us sprays are set up for people who try and vandalise train tracks - it at least makes them more easily traceable after the event so the scum can be brought to justice

They say no,they are just helping the police...apparently no violence but if they see people looting they keep them there until the police arrive.xx

Anyone know whats happening in leeds, my family lives up there.x

My husband works at a supermarket headquaters in the centre of Leeds & they all got sent home early. As did his best friend who works in the offices of a bank, and another friend who works in a jewellery shop. One of my husbands colleagues also got an email from her boyfriend saying they ahd all been sent home due to a serious incident at Leeds train station. There's also been a number of people saying Primark has been looted.

Apart from that, my friends housemates went in earlier to see what was going on & they said it was fairly quiet, though I think most of the tension will be outside the city centre in Chapletown & Harehills.

Nothing to worry about at the moment.

A load of men were on the roof of Nottingham High School but it's all under control by police now. 10 arrested so far.
