I just don't understand why the army aren't in helping already, why isn't water, tear gas etc being used?

I'm going bed now, up v early and starting a new job, I'm afraid what I'll see on the news tomorrow

cuz army can get sued if they hurt people police are covered my more protection if they hurt anyone. IMO make it public that any rioters that get hurt by army or anyone else well its their own fucking ault and get them in now

No it's not that, we have to wait to be ordered by the government and as of yet they are't mobilising the Army. It's done in National State of Emergencies (for instance the firefighter strikes) but they are still trying to contain it with police. The Army are already over stretched by budget cuts and over deployment too.

And tbh if you think about the cost of the riots maybe it would work out cheaper to just bring in army and get it stopped

I just can't believe people would act like this, how is this protesting about what it was meant for burning down peoples homes and buisnesses. Its so wrong and also it really isn't making them look good either. I am just shocked and disgusted and again can't believe it. I just said to my OH id be sickened if my son did anything like this. These Poeple shouldn't be standing by watching, go home and watch it on the news. im just watching it on main news, all those places. A massive, massive fire I really hope they catch the people that did it.

Yes we do but you get like 3 years for murder now what do they expect, maybe they should bring back life sentencing meaning life in prision on like 5 years
