What a thing to say. I didn't have it with either baby
 
Erm, no, definitely not! I gave birth in a midwife led unit - there isn't even the option of Pitocin there - if you need it for induction, you have to go to the big hospital. Thousands of women have given birth at the same place that I did :thumbup:
 
I'd be mortified! I'm in UK and had no pitocin or oxytocin. We get offered an injection which is intended to speed the delivery of the placenta and reduce the risk of hemorrhage, however we can decline, which is what I did. They take informed consent very seriously!
