I found some really old threads, but didn't want to bring back the zombies.
I have chronic sinusitis, which turns into a sinus infection semi-regularly. I'm able to manage it using Flonase and Patanase, both of which are Category C drugs.
My doctor told me to stop using them. When I asked be switched to Rhinocort Aqua, a Category B drug, she patently refused. She said to use saline.
I DO use saline... every single day. Between that and the drugs, I'm able to get my sinus infections down to 4 times per year instead of 8-12.
I'm extremely stressed right now, because I'm about to go home and not take my medicine for the first time in a long time.
Does anyone have any tricks? Are there any allergy medications that are safe during the first trimester??
