i have been diagnosed with contact urticaria by my doctor but am not sure what to do next. he told me the main allergen is fruit so to cut it out of my diet. he also gave me some anti-histamine tablets.

when i read the label it said not to take them during pregnancy, i told him i was trying for a baby so i'm a bit cross he didn't listen. i spoke to a pharmasist who said there are no allergy tablets that are safe in pregnancy:shrug:

i am trying to keep myself healthy and surely cutting out an entire food group isn't very good. should he have offered me an allergy test to find out which fruits specifically i need to avoid? should i go back and see another doctor and just ask?
