Almost 36, Nexplanon removed 2 days ago. TTC #5

Hi All,

I'm just trying to guage where on earth my body is at

I had my implant removed two days ago, I've got some cramping and feel awful along with a bit of pinky/brown spotting. If I have a period now will it be a 'proper' period? I don't have any periods with the implant (great!)

I'm baffled this time around - on 1st March last year I had my implanon removed and got my BFP on 5th April. With no symptoms at all. dd is now 7 months old.

Just thinking outloud looking for ideas :-/

I had my Implanon removed and within 2-3 days had really sore boobs for about 3 days, I also bled very lightly. My proper period started after 2 weeks. I had been told many stories about implant removel, some say it can take months to get pregnant and some say it's possible straight away. I have been told by nurse it takes 6 days to leave your system but I think everyones body is different. I did get pregnant in mid Feb but miscarried and again in March but i dont think thats down to the implant, just my crappy body. It definately shows its possible quite soon after removal though. Hope this helps XX

Just thought about it and it was Nexplanon not Implanon I had removed!!

Hi Owensgirl - how are you getting on now after nexplanon? Had mine out on 22nd Aug and still no AF. I think I ov'd 26th but no BFP either and now 23dpo. Just looking for any similar stories...
