Almost 7 months and still not interested?

Hunter will be 7 months on the 26th. We started with rice cereal at 17 weeks (no judgement please) which he loved and would eat with no problems. From about 21 weeks onwards he now refuses to eat anything from a spoon. I haven't changed anything, I offer him foods I know he has had before and liked but he seals his lips so tight and turns his head away anytime I try!

I dont understand why he suddenly is uninterested in solids???? I try every day and still he doesn't want a bar of it, so this has almost been going on for 2 months. I have tried BLW but he choked on a tiny bit of carrot once in a shopping centre and it scared me to death!! So I don't know how I feel about doing it again.

I guess I'm just wondering if anyone elses LO has done this?

We started weaning at 5.5 months and he started refusing spoons about 5-6 weeks after so i just gave finger foods i knew he wouldnt choke on like bread and pancakes. The stuff that they just gum until it falls apart in their mouth.

I wonder why they suddenly start refusing it, it's so strange. Because I rub a bit on his lips so he can get a taste and remember it. But still, as soon as that spoon comes into view, no deal! lol.

My lo is 7 months today and he's suddenly started refusing food. Up until a week ago I couldn't fill him, now he has 1 or 2 spoonfulls and jams his lips closed!

He won't have finger foods either, he hates food on his hands, so all he's had today is milk! Am just going to keep offering but it is worrying and stressing me a bit!

Same here! I have tried every day for the last almost 8 weeks and still no success Don't know how else to go about feeding him as I am too scared to try BLW again!
