Am I pregnant again or is this from my past loss?

Hiya!

I had a loss on the 12th/13th of December when I was 7 weeks along. This was 6 weeks ago. I had bleeding for a week after and it was clarified no tissue remained.

I had some odd spotting for one day two or three weeks ago. I thought it was just a light period. My breasts have gotten itchy and achy lately. Been nauseous over nothing. I'm not on birth control. I tested yesterday with a digital with weeks and got "Pregnant 1-2". According to the leaflet, that means 3-4 weeks along detecting 25-200 mui.

Would I still have 25+ hcg levels in me six weeks after? Or is this a new pregnancy?

It's possible for it to be either a new pregnancy or just residual hCG. I've gotten a bfp just 5 weeks after a loss but I knew it was a new pg as I had tested out my hCG and had had bfns for weeks prior. It could also just be residual hCG and things are taking their time evening out. The only way to know for sure is to have your doctor do two quantitative hCG tests 2-3 days apart and see what your hCG numbers are doing. If they are rising, then congrats it's a new pregnancy! If not, then it's likely your hormones are still just balancing out. Good luck and I really hope this is a new bfp for you!
