• Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. The admin team will continue to work on existing issues, templates and upgrade all necessary available addons to minimize impact of this new version.

Am I the only one that still sleeps with their baby at almost 1 year old

My daughter is 2.5 and she still sleeps with us, but we have a big family bed in our room, so we all sleep together and always have. She has gone to sleep in her own room from 8 months, but she comes in to us when she wakes (and now that she's in a toddler bed, she often just brings herself in and gets in bed when she wants to). I think it's great and it's worked well for us, but definitely I think I would prefer that we are altogether rather than me sleeping separately with her in another room. We have a double bed with a single bed next to it. My husband sleeps on the single and I sleep in the middle with my daughter on the other side. If you have space in your room, you definitely could do the same and manage to tandem co-sleep if you like.

LO is almost a year old and he won't sleep unless he's in bed with me, we have a king size bed but OH works nights so it's only a squeeze on weekends

I can't remember the last night that Lord Fauntleroy slept the whole night in his own bed. I never wanted to co sleep, maybe I would have thought different with one baby but its so hard with two. I feel its my fault for letting it happen :dohh: They turn 1 tomorrow, I need to look into what I can do to get him to sleep the whole night in his cot. He starts okay, but some time in the night he cries, and I'm so tired and so worried he will wake his twin that I just pop him in the bed. Some nights I juggle both babies. Never put them together with me in the bed though.

My son is nearly 2.5 and he still continues to spend at least half the night in my bed with me. I feel sad on the nights that he doesn't!

I love the proximity too, but I just don't sleep properly when he is in the bed with me. I have quite a good few nights, hopefully he will continue to be more in his cot than my bed

I started co sleeping with dd at a year old due to separation anxiety. Now at almost 2 my hubby sleeps in the living room with our 4 week old and my monkey is still in bed with me. We tried her in a toddler bed but after a week of her screaming til she vomitted we gave in. Happier house if she gets to sleep beside her mumma xxx

It started with my just moving him in when I was too tired to persevere at night. Sometimes on nights when I'm quite restless I move Ollie back to his own bed when he's sleeping - would doing that work?

Yes, I do the same, hard when you are tired though X

We have a family bed. I sleep with my (almost) three year old on one side of me and my 6 month old on the other. My husband sleeps next to our oldest.

I sleep with my sweet little girl almost every night. She goes to bed in her crib and then when she wakes up I take her to bed with me.
