I think Romney will win, he has the lead right now

No he's not: https://elections.huffingtonpost.com/2012/romney-vs-obama-electoral-map
That's because half the states haven't even voted yet. Voting is on the 7th where I live. And it looks to me that there are alot more Romney supporters then Obama so we'll see

Voting is on the 7th for everyone. Most states have early voting. The polls are not solidified until Tuesday night. California will go Obama, they have gone dem every election since 1992.

Even the Republican-biased Rasmussen has them tied today.

It's on the 6th where I live. Can't wait to see the results of this one!

Even the kids are tired for it all to be over.

Haha sorry, my days of the week are off:) One of the joys of motherhood! Tuesday is the 6th, not 7th. Election day=always first Tuesday of November:)

^^That's why I love absentee voting; I never have to get my ass to the polls on a certain day, lol!!

What is absentee voting  Do you do it via mail?

Maybe this year it'll be so close that it will actually matter how those of us on the west coast vote.....

Y'know, instead of having the President be decided before our polls even close..... :dohh:

Thank you for the reply Ozzie.

Yes we have that here too, we just call it postal vote though (I know you will know that Ozzie what with living in the UK )

Can you still vote even though you live here?

omg i didn't even realize that happened! :dohh:

How is Ohio expected to go?

I understand that Ohio usually decides the presidency.

Aye, it's the electoral college. You don't really elect the president. :haha:

Which date will we actually know the results? I've heard different things..

They usually give it a few days to make sure everything is good before officially announcing. They don't want another oops like bush and gore.
