AMH level

Just got my AMH result. It's 36.35. The nurse said it's 'satisfactory' but when I was looking at parameters on the net, this value it above satisfactory.

I'd appreciate any answers as I'm a bit confused.

Different labs sometimes have slightly different ranges but generally in the UK your result falls into this bracket,

21.98 - 40.03 satisfactory.
low fertility is < 21.98 and undedectable is .07

Satisfactory doesn't sound very impressive does it but your result is really, really good and nothing to worry about at all.
Bear in mind that 'optimal fertility' would mainly be achieved by young 16 yr old or early 20's and some women will likely never have been in that bracket even if tested in puberty.

I'll be 35 in February so don't know if levels will drop then! I hope not

For a normal healthy woman there will be a gradual decline until menopause (average 43yrs of age).

There is nothing in your amh result to suggest you would be heading for early menopause, in fact for 35 I think your result sits above average......so plenty more pg time and years of AF yet
