Amniotic Fluid leaking?

Hey, have any of you ladies had amniotic fluid leaking. I have been having a lot of leakage, not like discharge and it doesnt smell like urine so im just a little worried. Im not quite 17 weeks.

I had this same thing last week! Discharge changed to clear/watery and increased in amount--and I freaked. Went to doctor and he did an internal check--said it wasn't fluid leaking, but rather an infection The only sign I had of this infection was the clear/watery discharge and doctor was glad I'd come in about it.

So bottom line, call the doctor when you're in doubt! They're the only ones who can tell you exactly what's going on with you

So was it a UTI? Did he prescribe anything. Im on a antibiotic right now for a toe infection its Cephalexin i think its called.

I had clear watery discharge, so heavy I went into labor and delivery. After lots if tests and a a few days (to repeat the tests) it was determined to be a variation of normal cervical mucous...still have it I would go to doctor tomorrow to be sure though!

This may sound gross but smell it, amniotic fluid will smell like semen. I learnt this when my water broke with my daughter!

This exactly. It is a clear liquid with little white particles in it, that has a very strong different than urine smell. It smells like semen or moldy wet grass, it is hard not to notice.

If you are on antibiotics, could it be thrush? I am on antibiotics for a UTI right now and I had some serious wetness going on down there yesterday which was clear and quite watery. I had my MW appt today and was told it is the onset of thrush, which you are more prone to if you are pregnant or on antibiotics - being both equals double trouble!!!
