I can't be anymore than 8 weeks pregnant (dating scan this Thursday) and my sugar levels are already higher than I would like. The lowest I have sat at is 5.8 with them being as high as 7.2 an hour later when I re-test. DS3 I was sitting between 3.2 and 5.7 mind you, I was also on Insulin 3 times a day too. :/ I'm getting worried because I know that this could lead to miscarriage. I'll do another 24 hours and if I can't get them lower I'll ring my midwife. This could be Insulin right from the beginning. I HATED poking at myself with needles 9 times a day last time and it left some REALLY nasty bruising as a result so I dread to go back there. It's just as well this is my last biological baby. Now my choice to do a Surrogate pregnancy or 2 for my cousin could be seriously affected so I'll need to inform her as well. 
I'm trying to remain positive but the worry is there. I will update when I have rung midwife.
