Maybe he'll still count from day 1 when AF started? The CD 21 should at least tell you if you ovulated that month. I would be shocked if a 17 day cycle was due to an early miscarriage. Depending on when you ovulated (if you did that cycle) then implantation likely hadn't even happened by that point. Is this a family doc? Some generalist/family docs don't deal with infertility very often so you have to be a bit cautious

I thought he might still count it from day 1 but why not just book me there and then as I was on cd1 when I went in? He confuses me and yeh I thought exactly the same about the early miscarriage
