angelcare monitor need advice please :)

Hey. I have one and used it with my other 2. They don't go off by accident only when little one roles off them. Which they don't do until their moving which is a long way off. I then take tge pad out. My little one sleeps next to me too but I actually sleep with the pad. When we didn't hsve one I slept so light but with the comfort that I'll know if something happens means I sleep better so I'm more ready for next day and the challenges of new mummy. I swear by it but It's just personal preference. Argos have them half price at mo. Just got a new one from there today

Had one with my son and would not be without it, As ive always said in these threads its only ever gone off when we forgot to turn it off before taking him out, and 1 time he forgot to breath the alarm/us getting him shocked him into gasping. We have the movement and sound one. Used it in the moses basket no problem infact it was in the moses basket next to our bed that he forgot to breath!

Absolutely wouldn't be without ours and I agree with a few other poster that the don't go off by accident but only when the don't pick up movement/breathing so when little one start to roll around the cot it can happen then also ours went off once when bubs room got to cold which gave us a he'll of a fright but it meant we could add another blanket! I'm sure we used ours in the Moses basket as we and it before bubs arrived!
