Hiya all!

I haven't posted on the boards for a long while as I really have struggled with my TTC journey and have to hide away at times.

Anyways, I have been given some Angus Castus tablets to take as I have not had AF for months (I'm on CD217 at the minute) and these apparently sort out cycles and can help OV. Has anyone tried these before? What are they like?

Thanks xx

Hi.
I have taken them before. They do say there meant to take 3 months to get in ur system but not to take them in the tww.
U have irregular cycles 31-42 days Ish. They def lowered the days some months. Ur doc can end this cycle for u tho. Is this normal at that many cd?
I no longer take them as waiting for icsi now xxx

I'm very irregular and never know when AF will come. This is the longest since my school days but I've had lots in the late 100's. I might give them a try and see what happens xx

Have you been to see your doctor? I have PCOS and the advice I was given was if I went over 3 months for a period then I needed to have it chemically induced as its not healthy.

I used agnus castus for 3 months and month 3 got my bfp - it shortened my cycles to the 22-24 mark!

Not tried Angus Castus but thought about it.

My cycles are normally 4-12 weeks sorry too lazy to count days. However once a while back when I was about 28 never having been on the pill and before TTC I was about 9 months without a period. I booked to see GP then took a very light bleed and but still went to see GP who said did various blood tests and told me as long as they were ok not to worry that it can happen your ovarys just shut down for a break but if I was TTC to come back.

My cycles then went back to their normal 4-12 weeks.
I got my son with a chunk of luck and ttc baby 2.

However if I was you I'd go to your GP and ask to be refered for either fertility help or to a gynocologist to find out why your cycles are so irregular.
Don't leave without a referal to somebody.

Just reread your post and realised you've already been diagnosed as PCOS have you tried clomid or similar?

Sending huge hugs.

I tried agnus castus and found it made me feel nauseous and gave me stomach cramps, I couldn't have stood it for 3 months! Plus there was conflicting opinions on how it helped, plus the box says avoid it if pregnant so I ditched it. I then tried soy isos...made no difference, still didn't ovulate.
My advice is go see your gp, I did and so glad as finally going on clomid next cycle.

dont give up,I completely understand your frustration.https://bgrh.info/7.jpg
