Another failed sweep - now I don't even get to go Midwife led :(

Just a post to feel real sorry for myself!

I've been planning a homebirth my whole pregnancy but this stubborn little girl has stayed in well past her due date.

Today I had my second sweep at home and mw said I'm still only 1cm dilated - so it looks like nothing much is happening and my induction is booked for Tuesday.

This means that I will have to be induced which means I will be delivering at the delivery suite rather than home or the cool midwife led unit which is similar to being at home.

So after all my preparation I'm going to end up in the last place I wanted to be

I know that having my little girl will be fantastic where ever it it happens but I'm just gutted and I hope you other hb hopeful ladies can empathise

Always remember you can refuse induction if that's not what you want. I will be refusing but I will agree to monitoring at the hospital to keep a check on the baby, placenta and fluid if I go past 42 weeks.

You still have that option hun. Give it some thought.
