Another MIL vent.. don't call my child sexy!!!

Totally agree calling kids sexy, bikinis, high heels and t shirts saying 'bitch' are all wrong. Just let kids be kids!

I have never heard anyone call a child sexy. This just baffles me. Maybe I'm just a bitch but I would be like "Stop sexually harassing my child".

Maybe the next time she uses "sexy", stare at her and say, "really? Wow, I thought he was dressed nice. Maybe I should go change his outfit." Maybe then she'll get the point that "sexy" isn't the correct word to use. Ugh.

I think this would totally get your point across without outright offending her. Sometimes proving points goes way farther then just saying don't say that. God knows we don't want to make them cry and then dh thinks your being horrible to her. Been there done that.

Oh gosh, that word used to describe my child would drive me up the wall! Id ask her to stop using it. Though the longer you leave it, the more awkward it will become when you tell her to stop because she'll worry that she has been irritating you for months on end and that is what will get her upset!
