Antidepressant drugs

None that I know of. I don't even think there are any class B except wellbutrin/bupirion. Some of the class C are pretty ok, I am taking remeron, which is Class C, but the effects on fetal development were only noticed at 300x normal dosages.

Not that I am aware of. most are C and are JUST FINE to take if you need them. A healthy mother who is able to take care of herself and baby is very important. If you need them TAKE THEM... and do not stress about the class ( unless it is class D of course!)
Depression and anxiety in pregnancy and esp postpartum is not something any mother should have to worry about, and neither should the baby. most antidepressants are very safe for the baby.
Recognizing that there is a need for them and being willing to ensure you are safe and happy, is a sign of maturity and strength. Too many women view them as a weakness and are made to feel bad that they do not cope as well without them. Not only do the parents struggle, but the baby also has to deal with the depression of the parent who refuses help .

You could try adding fish/krill oil. There are a ton of studies it helps with depression, and it is good for you and baby.

But I completely and whole heartedly agree with the above poster, if you need to take them then do it, just be sure to be under psych and OB supervision. I've also read and been told by my OB that upping your folic acid can help to mitigate some of the risk.

Looks good to me and DHA is not only safe, it's recommended =)

I would print the ingredient list of the mood tonic and ask your physician before getting that one. I'm not familiar with the ingredients.

It's good that you plan to take these to a pharmacist before taking them. I personally would not take a natural remedy like this in pregnancy because it sounds like it is meant to do the same thing as an anti-depressant (SSRI) by increasing your serotonin level, but are not extensively studied to evaluate their safety. Personally, I take an SSRI under my doctor's guidance and find it very helpful. Thats just my experience, but I was taking it before I was pg and decided to continue.
