Was just wondering if anyone can tell me, when using your doppler where the sound of your own heartbeat come out? Apart from your chest lol! I know LO's is faster, but I often hear heartbeat to the left, today there was HB far over on the right and have had almost one on top of the other (mine and theirs?) I know there is only one in there lol! Thanks

When MW checks mine she can hear babies and then mine from the placenta in the background.

I can hear the placenta, a wind blowing through trees sound. What side soes your midwife tend to be on when she hears yours? In a way I wish I didnt have the doppler, someone gave me it and when its good it good and when not just a real worry lol. I should know with my personality I should never have started with it!

my hb is in the placenta, very low down on both right and left of my pubic bone also...its from the main artery's running down your legs xxx

I can hear my hb all over the place down there, lol! Sometimes it makes it difficult to hear the baby as it's so loud. Xxx

I sometimes pick up her hb from 2 different places .. its just the way shes positioned and you'll hear it from her chest and back.

I've never picked up mine from anywhere other than my chest, which is handy :)

I pick up mine all the time. Just recently noticed the loud wind blowing sound...didn't know it was the placenta. Very cool! I just assumed it was some odd interference.

usually i can pick up mine around the hip bone areas on me(or just a tiny bit further in), i think as someone else said- - the main arteries running down into the legs.
LO heart beat is an unmistakeable sound of galloping horses.
