Hi Ladies!
I'm new to this forum as well as being a new mom. When I found out I was pregnant I was excited, scared, and nervous, I had a hard time believing that I am actually pregnant...and for some reason it still has yet to really sink in According to my doctor, I'm due on July 4th, but I have my first prenatal appointment tomorrow and I really don't know what to expect so it's making me a bit anxious
My husband and I weren't trying to get pregnant...it just kinda happened. We were talking about trying come January, but we are really excited nonetheless.
A little bit about me: I'm 30 and my husband is 40 and we've been married for almost 2 1/2 years. We don't have any children, but knew that we wanted to have a family. For now, our baby is our Chihuahua whose name is Elvis. Health wise, the only problems I have are hypothyroidism and I'm slightly overweight, however before getting pregnant I've lost 50 lbs.
Pregnancy symptoms that I have had so far are headaches (which I had very early on), cramping, and most recently some fluttering, nausea, no appetite, slight acne, sore nipples, I'm constantly thirsty, I have a hard time sleeping and I did have some very light implantation bleeding for 5 days. One symptom I have not had is fatigue...I actually have more energy now than I have previously which I think is extremely odd
I would love to meet other mothers that are due in July or around the same time as I am...We have a long road ahead of us and it would be great to know that someone else is there to talk to for support.
