Bought some yesterday as Robyn always seems to have wind at night which is hard to bring up, i cant give her gripe water yet.

I gave her a dose last night and she spat it straight out again!:dohh: why do they have to make it taste so strong when they are not used to it!
I tried Dentinox with Ewan but it had such a strong taste/smell he used to scream if i brought the dropper any where near him.

I cant put it in a bottle as i am BF, so tried to give it whilst she was feeding off me but ended in a sticky mess lol!

I used to use Infacol with Tristan at around 5/6 weeks when he had trapped wind. I am not sure if it actually made a difference or not, but you know what it's like, you do what you can to help.

I used to give Tristan a bit of a milk feed, then some Infacol and then the rest of his feed. This way, he didn't totally spit it out.

I hope your little one feels better soon.

I tried it but it made her constipated. So I just used gripe water.

Does she drink any water? You could try putting a drop in there to tide her over until she gets used to it maybe?

I use it but harry hates it he screams as soon as the dropper hits his tongue, i just have to dropper it at the back of his mouth and then gently blow on his face to make him swallow (something my HV said to do when i had my 1st)
Have you tried it?? Its gross im not suprised they scream!!!
x

Yes, it can be tricky but at least it's not quite as foul smeeling as dentinox. That stuff stinks!

maddi had it from a few days old till 4months. it was great and always helped with her wind so she never had colic. she got used to the taste eventually, but wasn't that keen at first, like robyn. hope it helps hon x

Ha ha, yes, nasty stuff! Gracie spat it out the 1st time so thought it was best to leave it BUT my best mate said no, persevere. So, after a whole day of giving it to her before every BF she soon learnt that the infacol dose meant boob immediately. Bless her, her face frowns when she has it, but she makes cute mmmmm, hmmmm noises too as she knows it's boobie time!

Keep going if you can!!! But obviously try something out if it's really horrendous at feed time.

I think Lauryn actually liked the taste  and it definetly helped bring up her wind

It totally helped with Brooklynn she had horrible gas at night. I gave it to her by putting the dropper into the pocket of her cheek where she couldn't really spit it out and then would bf right away. Try looking for oval it should be in the same section as the infacol but it is mint flavored

i use it and it really is helping kai with his colic, he likes it just swallows it straight down

been using it all day yesterday before each feed and she seems to tolerate it now,
think i have eaten something which has disagreed with her as she is spitting up alot today, and is quite sleepy.
Seems to help nring up her wind although i can still feel that there is still alo there.

Isabelles the same very windy and screams in pain but the infacol seems to help abit she does frown though when she has it

Noah is the same, he holds his wind and screams but with the infacol he ddoesnt seem to gripe around as much. We have also got him some tommee tippee anti-colic bottles too as he guzzles so quickly and i think thats half his problem!

All i want to know is for how long you can use Ifacol as it doesnt say anywhere! I assume its safe to use until the colic has passed?
