Hi ladies, well im 43 and still ttc and do feel quite alone ! and just dont know wots going on with me this month, well since last month really

Hi all, I am 43 and trying to conceive my second child. My daughter is 12. I had PCOS first time round, yet caught without Clomid.

This time scans show no signs of PCOS, so they have put me on 50mg Clomid. Just at the beginning of my second month.

I think that when you get to a certain age, the doctors don't seem as interested, especially if you have one child already. But I am on my second marriage, so we would love a child together.

Hi Alwayshope, I am 43 and DH and I are ttc, and AM NOT ON CLOMID, and in the 2ww and am due for period on monday, I will keep my fingers crossed for you hun and am really hoping that this is our month. I am not feeling well and havent for the last 5 days now, feeling sick in waves all day on and off, lots of slippery cm (sorry tmi), headachy, and really really tired and have fallen alseep every afternoon all week, i can stand coffee or the smell and alcohol and really miss my glass of wine but i cant stomach it , my nipples have started to get really sensitive as of today so really hoping ,
Let me know how you get on , i'll be your ttc naturally buddy.

Hey inkdchcik, so af due nearly same time, your symptoms sound fab... well not fab u feel so crap but fab that they are positive symptoms lol,, mine are a bit non exixtant this month but not a prob, will try again next month, i just feel so frikkin old !! :O the stress is doing me in i swear ive aged years in the last few months.. f when are you going to test ?? im keeping my fingers n toes crossed for you

Hiya Always Hope, You know i really dont want to test but know i have to for the sake of my non believing doc (she says that at my age i shouldnt be trying, at my age i cant get pregnant and at my age i only have less than 15% chance of getting pregnant), and here i have sat for the last 5/6 days feeling really sick , constipated, cramping low down yesterday and today, but very mild and not for long, tingly itchy boobs but very sensitive nipples, bloated stomach, headachy and lots of ewcm (sorry tmi) wot do these bloody doctors know apart from what they can read out of a newpaper or a book, bloody society causes all our problems at being older and trying instead of helping us . Sorry needed a rant , just feel like crap and am fed up with the wait, i want to test but cant face another negative and another chemical so i might jsut wait for my period not to show seems like the cheaper more sure option.

Am currently on the TWW with a couple of faint lines (3 separate tests - very very faint) and a few negative tests on other brands. Totally confused and not going to stock up on the blinkin tests anymore

Well last month i got my period on cd23 so am pressuming that is either not right and i thought it was a normal bleed but am having doubts as my stomach hasnt gone back down at all!, and the bottom of my tummy feels quite hard, im so tired and have been going to bed at '8'pm, peeing, cm, cant drink alcohol and had to give up smoking !!!! we have an appt at the specialist on 9th june so will have to wait and see what she thinks, if i dont get my period before i see her then by that time i will be cd39 LOL that has never happened to me yet so i dont see why it should now , at the moment i dont think i will ever get pregnant - not this time not at my age and i feel like giving up Oh and i feel very tearful too !!!

im out for now, had chemical i think !! last month and im now single, the stress kinda did us in i think but never mind, for me i guess it wasnt meant to be, i have kids already and im thinking that im grateful for the ones i have and am not meant to have anymore, but wish all you lovely ladies tons of x

OMG !!! Im so sorry , im frightened that this will happen to me too as my new OH has never had children and i have two teenage daughters from a disasterous previous marriage as we have had so many m/c now that i really dont know what will happen to us if we dont get to fall pregnant.
God i feel for you hun im so so sorry

thankyou, i have kids from PREVIOUS, none with well ex now lol.. he has no kids and i feel he should go have some and we just grew apart, it wasnt the same after the m/c last year and this last chemical was the final straw i think for me, i just cant deal with the stress anymore... im sure i will find my mr right at some point but by the time i do i think it will be too late for any more kids, im a massive believer in fate etc so if it isnt meant to be then i have to accept that.. bit sucky but what can ii do,... but i do wish everyone so much luck in reaching their goal,.. it will happen for you all i feel sure

thank you Rachel and i wish you all the best in finding your Mr Right. I came out of a twenty year marriage with the WRONG guy and met Mr Right and have never been happier. We are very happy and are looking forward to growing old together and i really want you to find the same thing.
