Any tattoo lovers getting a tat in honour of baby?

I'm considering getting the date of birth on the underside of my arm... On on the inside of my forearm near the elbow crease.

Is anyone getting a tat in honour of their new arrival? would love to hear ideas if you are!

I will be at some point, I'm running out of space on my body because of the ink I have. I still need some tattoos covered up and one needs finishing. I think I'll get her name on my neck.

Absolutley, I can't wait to! I actually really miss being tattooed, I was about to get a sleeve started a few days before I found out I was pregnant. Had to cancel it of course so can't wait to start again once baby is here!

I haven't got any ideas yet for a tattoo for baby, I don't want to just get his/her name, I want something a bit bigger, but haven't thought of anything yet!

My husband is planning to get his/her name tattooed on his knuckles, which he is really excited about. He wants to get it now haha but I am making him wait until he/she is born in case we change our minds on the name or they are wrong about the sex!

Ill be getting the footprints from the birth record, one foot colored with the American flag (me) and the other with the Puerto Rican flag (OH)

OH is getting the ultrasound from my 25 week scan of his face because it was shockingly clear and had us both crying

i have my sons name on my wrist and will prob get this babies name too.
I am also going to get jellyfish on my foot. OH and I call each other squishy from finiding nemo and when I was pregnant with DS we called him mini squish.
I am going to get a large blue jellyfish for OH, a smaller blue one for DS and a pink or blue one depending on what this one is xx

I think I'm going to get a heart with his name or dob or both on my lower tummy at the right due to this is where he always used to lie to start with. Figured that's where he started to grow so always be there

ooo painful area to get a tattoo done, part of one of my tattoos is done there, still need to get it finnshed, planing on getting it finnshed after lo is born.

I don't have any tattoos and honestly never thought I'd want one, but after our loss I decided I will get one after this pregnancy.

I wanted to get a smaller discrete one to represent my little family. I was thinking of having the moon (to represent DH) with a star near it (to represent the one I'm carrying now), a shooting star (to represent our loss), and maybe a couple smaller stars to represent my two dogs, one of which has past (they're like family). I figured with every child I can easily add on to the tattoo

I'm going to need a very creative tattoo artist because I can only half imagine it.

That being said, does anyone know when you can get a tattoo after pregnancy? Do you need to have stopped BF?

Definitely want to get one to celebrate little one joining our family, not sure what yet though, would like something different.
I've got my cats paw prints on my left wrist, but one of my cats passed away In sept and we got a kitten a few months ago, so need to get her paw print added and her portrait added to my ankle beside my other two.
Would like our baby to have something unique to him/her on my body, need to have a really good think about it.
Could even up the balance with my furry family and have his/her footprint on my right wrist lol
