Any thoughts on these names (girls)

i like Cameron or Kameron but the meaning kinda puts me off...

Found this for you:

The girl's name Cameron \c(a)-me-ron\, also used as boy's name Cameron, is pronounced KAM-ren. It is of Scottish and Gaelic origin, and its meaning is "crooked nose". https://www.thinkbabynames.com/meaning/0/Cameron

oh noo :(

PS. I like Saige!

yeah crooked nose is the meaning for Cameron :/

oh please dont call your child Ireland! Erin means Ireland and is much nicer in my opinion.

I'm defensive this morning so take this with a grain of salt... Letting me know that Erin means Ireland is wonderful and definitely gives us an option I wouldn't have thought of. I do appreciate the suggestion and will pass it onto my oh who "came up with" the name and see what he says :flower: On the other hand I read the "oh please" as somewhat patronizing and don't think that it was really necessary. Again though thanks for the suggestion

totally different thing but...where did you get that bit on ur signature About how the baby is going?

Kameron/ Cameron - I don't like it. I have a unisex name and lots of people think they are calling a boy and get a bit of a shock etc. besides that I just don't like the sound and it seems a bit dated in a bad way.

Emersyn - This is quite hard to spell. I have friends that have names that are spelt differently to what people imagine and it really lets them down in the business world. For example people will write them work emails and give a wrong spelling and when the people with the strange spelling don't get them/reply it has caused them to loose business deals over something so simple.

Saige
- Sage is cute

Eleanor - I like Ellouise better, with a nickname being Ellie.

Evangaline (Evie) - Sweet and Pretty especially Evie which I love.

Ireland- not so keen on this. It is getting too common and not so pretty. Although thinking of Ireland is lovely there is quite a harsh tone to the actual word. What about an Irish name instead?

First off, thanks so much for such detailed comments :flower:

Kameron/ Cameron - I don't like it. I have a unisex name and lots of people think they are calling a boy and get a bit of a shock etc. besides that I just don't like the sound and it seems a bit dated in a bad way.

If we choose to go this way we will likely use a more feminine version, Kamryn. I kinda like the sound as it does follow the lines of my daughters name, Brooklynn, but on the other hand I see a downside to that too...

This was one of my concerns with the spelling. I really like the sound of it though I'm thinking it wouldn't go along with "her" last name....

Saige - Sage is cute

Wish I could remember where I heard this, but I do worry about the seasoning comments.

Eleanor - I like Ellouise better, with a nickname being Ellie.

Just thought it was pretty and feminine :)

Evangaline (Evie) - Sweet and Pretty especially Evie which I love.

Not sure about this one, I love the sound and think it's pretty and VERY feminine, and I love the shortened options

Ireland- not so keen on this. It is getting too common and not so pretty. Although thinking of Ireland is lovely there is quite a harsh tone to the actual word. What about an Irish name instead?

I haven't ever heard this one or seen it on any baby lists, I'm surprised it's common... I wonder if maybe it's a difference between the UK and Canada/US. OH came up with it out of the blue one day, I though it sounded pretty.

I love the name Cameron, but prefer it for a boy. I have tried to find a nicer meaning for the name since i have it on my "short list"... but every site says it means "crooked nose!"

I also had the name "Saige" on my long list of boy's names. Although, i came to realize it's more often used as a girl's name. I LOVE this name.

I also love the name Emersyn! I have never known anyone with this name... it's so pretty with your other daughter's name too (Brooklynn & Emersyn) -- Love it!

Eleanor i'm not fond of... Evangeline is OK (i love the name Eva)... and Ireland is cool! There is some american actress with a daughter named Ireland, but i forget who!

Saige & Emersyn get my vote!!!
