any1 had pre-eclampsia once and not for subsequent pregnancies?? i need postitive sto

the title says it all really.
id like to hear from mums who have suffered p.e with a pregnancy and not had it re-occur with their other pregnancies. iv convinced myself it will happen to me again but id like to start thinking positive

Hi i had pre-e and hellp syndrome in my 1st pregnancy, am due tomorrow with my second and have been fine throughout. have been on low dose aspirin since 12wks. so far so good! good luck with the rest of your pregnancy x

I had severe preE with my daughter, delivered at 28w weighing 700g.
I then went on to have my son, I did get preE at 37w and was admitted to hospital but because I was closely watched and on daily aspirin (till 32w) it kept it away till later and caught it early enough to be treated. My baby was delivered as planned at 38+6 weighing 4lb 15 due to placenta problems iugr caused by preE.

Although I did get it again, it wasn't anywhere near as bad because I had great care. Just thout I'd share the fact that preE again isn't always as bad as b4
