Anybody pregnant again after a ectopic pregnancy?

Hi my names shanade and in nearly 25' and I'm 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant today and this Is my baby no.2 i have a beautiful little girl who is 3' I had a miscarriage at 3 months then a ectopic' afrer i had my daughter and now am pregnant again' but so so worried that this one is ectopic' as I'm so excited about the pregnancy as its been a long journey' I just thought I would start this thread to see if there was anyone else who's expieranced this' and what there outcome was? It anyone who is going through the same thing? Xx

I'd love to know the same thing. My last pregnancy was an ectopic in Jan 2011, and I just found out two days ago that I'm pregnant! I'm terrified of another ectopic. But all we can do is hope and pray. Are you getting any blood work done? That's how my last was discovered.

Hello heather sorry to hear you had to go through this too
My ectopic was discovered by a internal scan I had my bloods done afterwards and my hcg levels dropped on there own so I miscarried myself so didn't need any medical intervention' I know that your chances of having a normal pregnancy are higher then compared to it being a ectopic again by even that 10% chance worrys me so much :-/ I have a scan tomorrow I will let ou know the outcome' and because you have quite a bu gap since ur ectopic I'm sure you would if healed a great deal internally' an in sure you will be fine this time' but i know it still does worry you xx

Thanks so much. The 10% scares me A LOT. Logically, it's low. But emotionally, it's high lol. I really hope everything healed well in there, but who knows, right?

congrats on your pregnancy! i just wanted to share that i had an ectopic and partial tube removal in 2010. i just gave birth to my rainbow baby on 2/2/13 so don't worry too much, it is possible to have a baby after an ectopic and the odds are in your favor. i was very worried at first too but things turned out great. try not to worry and be positive. i know its hard.

Help and congratulations on the birth of ur baby rosebud I had a internal scan today they never found anything in my tubes etc' and they said they can only see a dot in my uterus and my hcg levels where 191' in goin back on Sunday to have bloods again and yet will scan me again in a weeks time xx
