Anybody use Proactiv??

I have been using Proactiv for the last 3 years and am wondering if it is safe to use throughout my pregnancy? I heard Benzoyl Peroxide isn't good, but okay in small doses?

I don't use Proactiv, but I do use a benzoyl peroxide facewash. I used it throughout my pregnancy with my son too and had no problems. My doctor never even mentioned that I might need to change facewashes. Considering your facewash is only in contact with your skin for like 30 seconds at a time, I'm guessing it has very little time to cause any problems.

If anybody has heard from their doctor or midwife on this, though, I'm also interested to know.

I haven't heard anything about Proactiv being dangerous. But I do know Retin-A is a big no no. I didn't know that with my first pg and my Dr made me stop using asap. She said it has been known to cause birth defects. I never would have thought about a cream doing that.
