Anyone able give any advice?

Hi Ladies.

I came off the contraceptive pill in February and had my usual period from the 20-27th of February. This was the last AF I've had. I've had no symptoms since then. I was always 6-7 weeks between my periods but I'm obviously beyond that now.
Has anyone else had this problem when coming off the pill?

Hi Karen,

I assumed my irregular periods were down to coming off the pill for ages, but years later I'm now diagnosed with PCOS so that could have been a reason in my case. I have heard that lots of women can take time to 'settle' after coming off birth control though. If you're worried I would see your dr and ask if they can run some blood tests to check your hormone levels.

I've heard some women reccomend a really hot bath as well for kickstarting a period, but make sure you're def not pg first!

Like jessi said, it takes some women longer than others, I stopped in October and got af in end of Jan, then Spotting in march and nothing till now. I just went to my doctors and they sent me for blood work and ultra sound. My doc said usually it takes average about 3 months so maybe wait a little longer then go to your doctor

Hey! I came off the BCP in November, had my withdrawal bleed an then nothing for a longish 38day cycle. Since that odd one they went to a 27day cycle pretty quick until this cycle when AF has defo gone awol lol! x

I got off the pill and have had very odd cycles since then. 35 days, 48 days, 38 days. Just all over the place so now I track cm and keep track of O when I feel the ovulation pain. Currently I am 11 dpo and staying positive and praying for my
