Anyone been diagnosed with fibroidadenoma in the breast while trying to conceive?

I found a lump in my breast two weeks ago, GYN sent me for an ultrasound and the radiologist told me it looks like a fibroidadenoma (and that it is benign and to return in 6 months to see if it changes...which he said it won't).. After reading horror stories online I decided to go get a biopsy just for a piece of mind. I did that yesterday and yesterday and today I am ovulating, perfect timing!!!

Anyway I though I could talk to any ladies who had a similar experience as I am very nervous awaiting the results of the biopsy even though everyone assured me it is extremely unlikely to be anything worrisome. Thank you girls!

Hello! While I don't have any experience with this specifically, I just wanted to pop in and say hi. I think it's really great that you went ahead and got the biopsy done. It's so good to get reassurance to be on the safe side. I'm kind of that way too. With something like that, I'd rather have some tests done to have some data/ results to have in my hand rather than being totally okay with "yeah, you're probably fine" lol. I can imagine that it would be nerve wracking to wait for confirmation, but as of now, there doesn't seem to be any reason to be real concerned or worried about the result.

First of all I want to thank you sincerely from the bottom of my heart for responding to my post. I was in the dumps the past two weeks, thankfully I did get it biopsied (even though everyone convinced me not to but I couldn't help myself) and it is benign. I know have my peace of mind which is more important then anything.

Thankfully for being so sweet and caring. I truly hope everything works out for you...now on to trying to conceive again lol. THANK YOU again

Glad to hear your biopsy was benign, that's great news! Just chiming in to say that it shouldn't affect your chances of conception... I have a breast fibroadenoma and am currently 9 weeks pregnant.
