hey i was wondering if anyone is doing an animal related college course that is in glasgow i have been looking around for courses, i am currently doing a nursing course in college but after being told we cant try anymore and i will never be able to give my OH a child of his own the dream of working in the infertility clinics i had just seems like a utter nightmare now, i have always wanted to work with animals but feel i should do some college work and maybe even go to uni in the field, once i am finished my current course i could more than likely go into a HNC/D as will be coming out with higher grades in chemistry, biology, english and such. anyways long story short i would love to just be a stable hand but think i would like to go more in depth to get work....

anyways if anyone knows if any courses out there that deal with animal care/animal science etc would love it (looking for more the vet or science side of things than like say grooming etc)

i can only see NC animal care in cumbernauld college and NC animal care in langside....

Animal work is very very competitive, and very under paid. Most employers want to see that you have had practical experience and not just theory. You could do veterinary nursing,

thats the sort of thing i was looking at but can't seem to see any courses.

Is a list of places rthat do the vn degree.
Any other course you would need to be employed by a vets before you could start training. Then it would be day or block release to college.
