Hi Everyone! I am newly pregnant and I want to try my hardest to prevent myself from developing gestational diabetes again. I have late onset diabetes that comes after my 28 week glucose check and it caused the death of my first son and I also developed again in my second pregnancy and was dependent on insulin the last 5 weeks of that pregnancy.
This time around I have started my pregnancy at a healthy weight, I excercise regulary, and I am trying to stick to a healthy diabetic diet from the get go, which in the first trimester I know will be hard. Hopefully this will help me not develop GD or at least have it under control when it does happen!
Anyone want to join me and help each other stay active, fit and healthy this pregnancy
