Anyone else actually looking forward to the budget thingy tomorrow?

I'll be very suprised if it is the highest earners hit hardest tbh.. this is the tories after all.

I think the really high earners dont tend to get affected by these sort of budgets anyway no matter what government is implementing them

Very true! No amounts of cuts, or tax rises are ever gunna dent their massive incomes!

No because high earners dont pay high enough taxes as it is right?? Jeezzz. It does effect some high earners, especially hard working people like my little family. Bare in mind with high earnings you also get higher outgoings so yes it can very much dent others.

As I am from Spain I don't know much about politics in England, but I had to google this man to see if I was fascinated (I was not) I suppose he gains when talking.

I am watching this but i have to admit i have been quite ignorent to whats going on...but nw i read more into it im interested to see what this will mean for me,OH and LO as a family.
So on this that im watching now will i get to know what they will be cutting and what sort of lifestyle we will be living after these 'tax credits cuts'?
Or is it undecided what will be cut?

Now this i agree with! My nan is widowed and living off her £91 per week pention...out of this comes bills/rent etc food and clothes etc...yes she gets help towards the rent and council tax but still,its not alotx

I recently found this too - my Grandad passed away, and he had a very good firefighters pension, which she has now lost. It's awful and the government are just not interested in helping. Makes me very very angry! xx

bloody hell i can't believe i've been out come back and this thread is so massive........ without 1 argument!!!!!!!!! it's awesome!

I am attempting to study with the tv on in the background as its way too long for me to sit and watch when i really need to be studying

talking of money... i had £300 the other day in my account to pay halifax (old debts im trying to sort out) and i went to buy some crumpets in sainsburys and apparently im overdrawn over £100!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! need to phone abbey pronto. I am not a happy bunny

Me 2,she is 66 and only retired at the age of 62! She was a very hard worker and her pension it a pittance My grandad who passed away was disabled,he had 1 leg and one arm so they were use to his benefits too...she lost it all which was a pretty hard knock...she is adapting well but its just not enoughxx
