Anyone else alone for xmas?

I was just wondering if any of girls out there are alone this xmas? It will just be me and LO and I have to admit I've been avoiding this forum and all the chat about gift buying, family dinners, etc.

It would be nice to hear if anyone else out there doesn't have family and is in the same position.

hun im sort of alone, OH is working 10am until possibly midnight so it will be just me & morgan until 7pm when my gran stops in for 30minutes on the way to the pub

Hi hun, not this year but in 2005 it was just me and my lil man (he was 1) and the same again in 2006 but R was 4mths old. I think we had a good day as ever. We just were very lazy, It wasnt as bad as I thought it was going to be xx

I have a spare room you're welcome here anytime. You should take her out for christmas dinner so you don't have all the hassle of cooking and then maybe go for a nice walk. It's not overly exciting but it'll be nice for you do something together

Yeah I am thinking of nice things to do to fill the day, like taking the dogs out and going to give the horses some treats for their Christmas. Lots of playing with her toys, and I'll get her to help me cook dinner.

I just really want to fill the day and make it really nice for her, and also so I'm not thinking about home and my family that I no longer speak to.

what about doing something craft wise hon too? we have play doh for Christmas so i'm thinking we'll spend sometime over the period playing with that or you could make something, like a snowman with cotton wool etc xx

i know how u feel , i never spoke to my mam/dad for 3yr and 1 of them yrs i had split with my ex, but i had no baby then , uv ur LO enjoy , take lots of pics,and come on babyandbump !! to talk to everyone xxxxx

Sounds beautiful. Honestly, the xmas me and my son spent just us was the least stressfull xmas I have ever had. It was beautiful to be honest. No offence to my OH or family lol but it was special in its own way xxx

lol come to mine for christmas dinner if you like... ive ordered a huge turkey for me & Lilly... I will be seeing my family and Lillys dad will be here christmas day but we split last week so that willl be 'fun', but everybody has given me the 'you dont like going anywere for too long do you and you always want to go home after an hour so your best having dinner in your own house' line lol. so im kinda on my todd for christmas day... i dont really mind though to be honest, thought about booking christmas dinner out but i think id feel like a bit of a fool christmas day sitting on my own with Lilly while other familys pull crackers over the table lol x

I was alone for x-mas 2006 but I still put up the tree and wrapped gifts ( I bought gifts for my dog ) I cooked a wonderful small turkey and then I headed over to the local retirement home and helped hand out their holiday meal..even santa made an appearence that day..I may have been alone I didn't feel lonely
