Anyone else due late July/early August 2013?

I stopped taking BC in August and this past month was the first month my hubby and I were "not trying not to." Amazingly, I think I am pregnant already! This is my first time so I have no clue what to expect and I'd love to find a buddy. Based on the start of my last period, I would be due somewhere around the end of July or beginning of August. Anyone else out there on that time frame?

I am! Got my bfp on Weds with an EDD of August 3rd. have you taken a test yet?

I have taken more tests than you could imagine, lol! I saw my first faint positive line yesterday and am waiting now for a definitive digital positive before I consider it a for sure thing. My hubby still won't believe it until he sees something say "pregnant"

Woke up at 4 am needing to pee (seems like a nightly thing now) so I tested with a Clear Blue Digi and finally got a definitive PREGNANT! No denying it now

Yay Sheffie! The digi does make it seem more real. When are you going to make an appt with your OB? I don't have one yet so I need to figure out who I want to see and give them a call.

I actually moved halfway across the country about 5 months ago, but I found someone I liked during my yearly exam. I don't know her well but she seemed nice and knowledgable so I'm going to call that office on Monday and see when they think I should come in. I really have no idea how this all works yet, so I'm just going to go by what they say

Looks like I'm due around Aug 6th! I took 2 tests and had BFP on both so I guess it's true. This will be my first so I am a complete newbie as well. I could definitely use some friends to talk to along the way that are going through the same thing. The only symptom I have is the extra peeing thing.

According to FF I am due Aug 7. I hope it comes a little early,just enough to make it in July. like 50% of my family and friends are born in August , there are already sooo many august birthdays!

Congratulations to everyone, especially those having just found out! Isn't it exciting? I found out at the end of last week and first doctor appt next week.

Hi KeeKee! Congrats on your bfp! I hear you on the constant peeing - it's the only really noticeable thing I've got right now.

Shy, welcome and congrats! That's funny about all of the August b-days - I hope your little one decides to make a somewhat early appearance. Good luck with your appointment next week! I have one on Monday with my RE but I still haven't found an OB.

Tacky, I see we are in the IUI boat together! I'm so happy that your 2nd one worked - how many follies did you have at your IUI? We have the same due date

I'm a super newbie and just had my confirmed BFP (big fat positive I think) did 2 clear blue tests and they both showed up immediately.

Been to see my GP today and he's booked me in for my midwife meeting on the 17th!!
We have only been off the pill since July so I'm a happy bunny!

I work out my dates as around the 8th August

ARRGGH! I'm so excited but we aren't telling anyone until we hit the 12 weeks mark - thank god I found this place!

Welcome greeneyes and wristwatch! I'm glad our little group is growing. How is everyone doing? What, if any, symptoms do you all have? I'm making constant trips to the bathroom, sometimes as many as 4 times a night! And then I'm getting very tired in the afternoons and it's hard to resist taking a nap. Otherwise, nothing real noticeable.

Because I am working with an RE I had a very early scan on Monday - I was 5w2d so there's not much to see but you can see the yolk sac inside the gestational sac. The RE said everything looked great so I'm cautiously optimistic!

I go in for my first ultrasound on Wednesday. At that point I'll be 5w5d so hoping we can see the sac and all and I can put my mind at ease a bit.

I tested again today to see if the line darkened from Monday when I had my blood test and they had told me my hcg had quadrupled from 14 to 59. The line was definitely darker so I'm interested to see what my levels will be on Wednesday.

Wristwatch, my understanding is you should be able to see the yolk sac just fine by 5w5d. Definitely let us know how it goes!

Are any of you ladies already experiencing increased hunger? I literally feel like I'm starving all the time and it's making me worried that I'm going to end up the size of a blimp! I've read that you only need an extra 100 calories in the first trimester but this bottomless pit has me reaching for snacks all day long.

Thankyou Yes it's our 1st, so very new to all this, even though we were trying it's still a shock

I seem to be a bit more hungy but I almost have no appertite!!!! I have gone off chocolate and cakes too, which I was obsessed with before (hope that sticks around ) I'm probably eating half the amount I was before, very strange!! I'm sure it wont last long though

Wristwatch how exciting for an ultrasound!! I haven't seen anyone yet, have my first midwife app next thursday...really hope I like her Good luck with it!! xx
