I had it around 6-8 weeks and it gradually went away, but since yesterday i've noticed an orangy brown tinge in my liner. I dont have any pain or anything and have an appt with midwife on thurs for blood test, but was wondering in meantime.

Eeek yes and I've seen a lot of this on here in the last few weeks, it must be quite common. I'd certainly mention to your midwife anyway though - I am seeing mine this week and I'm gonna. x

I had a bit of the orange tinted stuff earlier on and it turned out to be nothing at all, but be sure to mention it to your mw just to be safe hon! :hugs:

I've had that on-off so far, and I think it's pretty normal (although always ask your doctor).

It may be just vagina fluid, you know, vagina getting rid of old cells and stuff.

Pretty common, from my experience and what I've read. I mainly see it after some movement.

I have been having this the past few days as well... it made me nervous so I left a message with my doctor and hope to hear back soon. I have a home-doppler and I can hear the baby's heartbeat just fine, so everything is probably okay right? I did not have sex to trigger it though, it just started on its on. It's like you said, brownish/yellow/orangish color.

Yes on and off throughout the pregnancy your dr may just check to make sure there's no infection but other than that its fairly normal

Ooh my thread is back. Mine is still the same, some days hardly anything, other days,a slight tinge. Baby is happy tho and midwife said it happens. Its very common going by posts i've read on here. Some people have also mentioned pregnacare vits can make urine brighter and discharge coloured.

Louise73, thank you for updating on your status too! that makes me feel alot better since we are due right around the same time and your baby is healthy and doing well :)

My doctor did not seem too concerned. She asked me if it was itchy or had an odor (signs of an infection), which it was not, so other than that she said it just happens sometimes. Still, its so nice to get reassurance from both the doctor AND other women who have experienced it :) thanks ladies

No probs:thumbup: forgot how worrying this pregnancy lark is:hugs:

I get a bit of gross stuff pretty often when I wipe... It's brownish, and only a little bit. It's NOT poop, though. LOL... Anyway, everything is fine with me, but it's worth discussing with your dr/MW.

ive yet to have it actually appear on my knicks - but i just posted a topic as my boy seems to be kicking me hard right in the foof lately and so as an idiot i tried to check my cervix, i couldn't feel it but when i wiped my finger on a tissue it did have a very slight brown/pink tinge to it..im wondering if this could be the same thing? :( hes still moving, seems fine its just worrying i hate all this panic

I woke up this morning with orange/pink discharge and lots of it. I freaked out and they got me in to the OB right away. After a scan to make sure the baby was fine (which it was) they checked my cervix and looked for infections, but they said things were normal. They did say something like my canal and cervix were too close together? (they didn't elaborate or anything and just kept talking so I hardly recall what was said) but they said its normal and happens to a lot of people. They don't know what causes it, but its not cause for worry. Still, its stressful finding all that color down there. Hope things go well with your midwife appointment.
