Anyone else over due?

Its a full moon tonight, not that I believe that works but suppose to . I am suppose to be in labour by now as today was another prediction date from someone. I am actually fed up with people predicting dates as they all wrong and even the sex they are wrong on and guess what more than one psychic friend has been wrong even on sex! I dont believe any of them can really predict at all. No one got it right last time with William either. Even them Chinese gender things have all been wrong.

I'm 1 day over due and fed up already. Feel for you ladies.

I blame everyone else cos everyone was convinced for some unknown reason that baby would be early, no idea why since Joshua was 4 days late. So they all made me get my hopes up. I'm driving myself crazy Reading into every little twinge hoping it means somwthing.

Had mw on thurs who will do a sweep if he's not here by then. Oh is convinced I'm gonna go into labour tonight while he's at work. I'm so gonna fall out with him

yeah i got that about second time babies come early and the one big myth that if i breastfeed my baby will be premature which is so not true anyway and glad i proved that one. So I was listening to ones saying as its the second the come on time and your body knows what to do by then. Does it hell now i feel like a failure! and no one has asked how i bloody well am! i get more concern of nice poeple in this forum than I do of anyone.

well had my sweep was fine having another tuesday and then im being induced if nothing happens on friday !! i feel so much better now knowing baby will be here by next weekend !!! xxxx

Hello guys,

Well, my waters kinda broke, slow trickle all day rather than big gush and bloody show! I am only 1cm dilated though so have a long way to go, and no contractions yet! Have to go back in tomorrow to be induced at 10am if labour doesn't start tonight!!

We'll see...I think it was the moon.

I hope that everyone else starts off later and have my fingers and toes crossed we have all had our babies in a few days xxxx

Dragonfly your not a failure *hugs* annoyingly baby will come when ready. Meh. Peoples supposedly helpful comments don't help.
I've taken to ignore texts from anyone who asks if there is any signs or if baby is here. They'll end up thinking I'm having him but I don't care. A how r u feeling would b nicer.

Whoops didn't mean to rant.

I'm wondering if my waters are slowly leaking, or if it's just discharge. Felt a bit damp.. But had so much discharge past week that it's probs just that.

I am actually going to have a word with baby. I should really blame the hospital for dates as they can never really know can they its just as estimate but the fact that if you have to be induced and for me AGAIN i feel like i failed. I just want whats safest in the end for baby. I am feeling rather sorry for myself at the mo anyway.

well after my sweep yesterday this morning ive lost loads of my plug so im seriously hoping its done something!!!! if not induction is booked im having another sweep on tuesday anyway. just hoping i guess !!

checking in . This morning I had to get up really early as my back is so sore its like pressure, feels like it will explode?? it was so sore a few seconds ago i near cried but has went again. dosnt feel nice at all this. but i shall not get my hopes up.

Hi Dragonfly. I was due on 16th November - same as you. This is my 4th baby and they've all been overdue - it's pants isn't it !

Got a sweep booked for Wednesday morning. Never had one before - dreading it actually. Just hoping and praying that i go into labour before then. Fingers crossed for both of us ! x

Feeling lonely in my over dueness again here. Everyone else has had their babies and stolen me due date! lol And I feel so left out. Nothing is happening. I know its only a matter of days as they do not let you go far over here and I have an app on tuesday to discuss if I am not gone by then but these are the long days. Last time this happened i was 11 days over and had to be induced.

I've had my baby but I know how you are feeling. I was due Oct 24th and
my daughter was not born until November 10th, so 17 days overdue.
I refused induction though because I wanted to do it 100% naturally and let me tell you I faced some flack form a few people.

trying4ababy - i read yr story i think you were brilliant im 41 weeks and everyone keeps asking how overdue i am etc and saying surely baby should be here by now !! how you put up with that for 17 days is amazing !! congrats again on yr little girl xx

Thank you so much. My sis in law was the worst. She got induced with her daughter so she kept saying "So are you going to get induced, why aren't you getting induced, you do know baby is at risk, and calling to say so is the baby here yet"

Day 2: I no it's not much but I'm still waiting with no signs. Feeling better today tho I was utterly miserable yesterday and sat crying over nothing. just trying to think it's not much longer I'll have a baby is a week hopfully.

If only ppl would stop asking me if I've had an signs. Even texts saying how r u are annoying me now. Lol

Did you go natural with all of them? my app is wed not tomorrow.

Wow thats a while waiting! I was 11 days with my son and unnatural as i was suspected pre eclemspsia and my bp was sky high and swelling. none of that this time.

sex disaster this after! william wouldnt stay out and play with his toys in hall as where else we suppose to do with him. in ear shot and eye from bedroom. screamed the whole time so we gave up sod that never trying that again when he is awake its impossible!
