Up until 2 weeks ago I was still basically smaller than I was pre-pregnancy, but I'm just feeling miserable about my size right now.
I've struggled with my weight all my life (eating disorders on and off) and it doesn't help that babies' dad keeps referring to me through text as a fatty. I hate seeing myself in mirrors and I've only put on 3 kilos!!!
Does anyone else feel like this!! I know it's all about giving baby nourishment but I'm struggling to eat knowing I'm putting on weight :(

For him to refer to you as fatty is absolutely disrespectful. I assume you are not together. What an asshole.

I struggle with the idea of the weight I'm putting on all the time, but I try to remind myself that it's only temporary and all for a good cause. Once the baby is born nice and healthy, I can focus on losing the weight when I feel ready. I think you just need to remind yourself of the same thing - easier said than done, I know, but think of this as the one time where you can't be selfish about your weight, because you are supplying all the nutrients to your child who is growing inside of you.

If you are really struggling, I recommend you speak to your dr or midwife, because they may be able to better guide you.

:hugs:

I am hating every single pound. There are no buts there either, lol, I just hate gaining weight.

I get it... I lost weight and then held steady for the longest time and the first time I gained weight it was four pounds in a week.... Then held steady for a couple weeks, then another four pounds ( two of which I've since lost again thank goodness). Technically I'm only up two pounds from pre-pregnancy weight, but I'm so stressed by the sudden gains. It doesn't help that I sometimes catch DH staring at the naked belly with a look of horror...

What sort of man calls a woman fat? It's one of the most disrespectful things to say to someone, what an arse!

I've gained a lot too, I just keep reminding myself that after baby's born then I can hit the gym and get my weight under proper control, I'm sorry your feeling this way but just try to remember it's all for a great reason :hugs:

Just remember that a lot of the weight gain is actually ur baby and it's support system plus the extra boob weight etc.
I also hate gaining weight as someone who was on a weight loss mission when I got pregnant so I hate the idea of gaining weight, which I haven't yet but that sort of scares me because then I worry that the baby isn't getting everything it needs.

For him to call u fat though is well out of order, I'd be having words
