Anyone else suffering from an HG pregnancy? How much weight are you down???

Since 5 weeks ive been sicck, since week 6 when they reaalized i already lost 6 lbs they put me on zofran, which helps some but not entirely. At 14 weeks im down 27 lbs from when i found out i am pregnant, i mean honestly i was a bit chunky so its been nice seeing the scale go down, but horrifying at the same time for all the obvious reasons ( baby growth worry, etc). If you have HG, did it EVER get better besides after birth? How much have you lost???

Hi! I am 24 weeks and also suffering with HG. I am currently taking Diclegis and Phenergan. It seems to help with the vomiting, my last episode was 3 days ago, but not so much the nausea. I started out at a normal weight, currently I am down 16lbs. that is with having finally gained 6 lbs back. I also had HG with my last pregnancy and my overall gain was 12lbs. I would like to tell you that it gets better, but from experience delivery really is the only thing that helps. Hang in there, holding your sweet baby at the end of it all is SO worth it.

With my first pregnancy I lost about 42lbs. I never gained weight once but I did stop losing weight and maintained from about 30 weeks onwards. I was still getting sick at a week pp. The nausea stopped around 20 weeks but the vomiting continued. I had a 9 lb 11.5oz baby who is the healthiest 15 month old ever.

I am now 31+5 and the sickness didn't really start until 8ish weeks and has been a lot less severe than with my lb. I have however lost about 17 lbs or so and am still getting sick several times a day. This seems to be what my body does when I am pregnant. I was hospitalised once with my lb and once this time for dehydration but it is very hot where I am and fear that I may end up in hospital again before baby is due.

Because this is my 2nd time going through this, I am much less concerned about the effect it will have on the baby when I see how big and healthy my lb was. It is really hard not to think about it when it is your first time experiencing it.

With my son i had HG but wasnt diaganosed i gined about 10 pounds my whole pregnancy with hi and that was surprising cause i never kept anything down. So miserable. Since about 6 weeks ive been on zofran (im almost 15 now) & ive lost 10 and just started gaining weight but some days it doesnt matter if i take my zofran or not i can just be sick all day long. Once baby cones its all over with. Its crazy how some of us get so sick and some dont throw up a single day
