Anyone else uncomfortable after a big meal?

My evening meal is always a cooked meal, lunch time is just usually a sandwich but by the time evening comes we always have a yummy cooked dinner. However, afterwards I feel SO uncomfortable and cannot get comfortable at all, sometimes I can't even finish half of the meal before I feel I'm about to explode (not like me at all ) my stomach feels rock solid and I just generally feel awful, no position is comfortable, not even In bed!

Anyone else have this happen? I'm only 21 weeks I don't remember this happening while I was pregnant with my DD until at least 28 weeks!

I am starting to get full a lot quicker too, and I don't remember feeling this way with ds this early! I only remember the uncomfortable fullness in the third trimester. Ugh it's annoying especially since I had my in-laws visiting and MIL is an amazing cook

It happens to me Mummy! I have also noticed I can barely eat half of what I used to be able to eat. I have to take breaks in-between in order to finish my food.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I LOVE my food but last night it was such a struggle but the food was so good I couldn't leave it

I struggle to eat a full meal too, If I do manage it I feel dreadful afterwards and end up feeling sick x

I've had this on and off from the start. You could try eating your meal in two parts or saving your portion for lunch time.

Definitely! I'm only 19 wks, and am struggling to eat a normal meal. Can only imagine what it's bon a be like toward the end !!

Thanks ladies glad I'm not the only one. I would try making a smaller meal but it never happens, OH always picks up on the fact that I make huge portions for us I just don't realise it I think today I may refrain from having a snack this afternoon see if that helps.

Yeah I'm starting to feel peckish already don't think I can hold out till 7pm

Don't give up the snack!!! lol
I eat about a half portion of supper with everyone else, then have a 'supper snack' later on, once my stomach has cleared out a bit
