Anyone else using both OPK and charting?

Can the OPK contradict the temp chart, as in, the chart temps keep rising but the OPK doesn't show signs of a positive?
Has anyone had any experiences using both?

What CD are you on and how long is your average cycle? my temps are quite often high at the beginning of the cycle and then go down for a few days before O and then go up again after O and stay up until CD1. Most of the time I would get a temp shift 1-2 days after a positive OPK and a PEAK on CBFM, sometimes this shift is not very visible but after a few days you can see a clear pattern.
