Anyone else waiting for laproscopy surgery?

I was told with mine i wasn't allowed to bd for 3 weeks?? Which doesnt bother me though caus i had my lap just after ov so ive still got af to come before its time to try again, so plenty of time to recover. I think id be a little scared to try so soon Briss, are you still sore at all? If your still sore from weeing, id be popping to the doc, caus its probably a UTI. My stomach muscles feel like ive done heaps of sit ups, im guessing they got quite stretched when they fill us up with air?
Does anyone else get a little excited when they use the opk? Im like finally - a test where i get 2 lines!! lol
Cant wait to try next cycle to see if anything has changed after the lap

I totally do!! Used them this month and got SO ridiculously excited when I got a positive one!

Hi, don't stress too much about your upcoming surgery. I have had 2 laparoscopies one for endo and another for a simple cyst, I was back on my feet after 3 days both times and have had no long lasting side effects. I also had a laparotomy for a huge complex cyst in March this year, that was a tough recovery, they cut me from hip to hip, I was in hospital for 4 days with a catheter. Took 3 weeks to recover from that one and I have an ugly scar from it. I'm now on my second round of Fertomid (generic of Clomid) and right in the middle of my two week wait.

MamfaJane, that sounds so hectic!! How are you feeling, what dpo are you today? I'm 7/8 dpo today and started with some brown spotting when I wipe yesterday afternoon. Feeling hopeful that the lap did it's job and my eggs are finally getting to where they need to go!! Nice to chat to someone from the same country

Bushbunny when are you due for AF? How are you feeling after the lap?

Plastikpony - thanks for the concern I'm doing much better now, totally recovered from my last surgery. Im currently 11 DPO and I've been perfectly fine I O'd the month after my Laparotomy but my Gynae put me on Fertomid to regulate my cycles - making it easier to plan BD Days. I had very few symptoms this month (mainly because I told myself Im not going to symptom spot haha) but today I've been experiencing a stabbing pain near my right ovary - I have no idea why. Here's hoping it's good news - trying to wait till Sunday before I poas. Glad to hear your eggs are finally getting to where they need to be!

Hello ladies. I think I need to turn notifications on. I'm glad to read a bunch of you have gotten yours done. I go next Wednesday.

I just got af normal today after wonky 2 years cervix etc issues. I'm so glad that it came back on its own schedule and hopefully it will be short .
I have signed to clip my tubes if damaged and diseased but I'm struggling with it.

I've had 3 laps, one to diagnose, one to try and fix my tube and one to remove an ectopic pregnancy so if anyone has any questions feel free to ask away.
